Oliva Master Blends 3 Cigar Review: A Smooth, Flavorful, Sweet Experience

God, I love this cigar so much.

I mean, it could be found online for as little as $5-6 a stick and it is incredibly delicious.

The MBiii has a heritage behind it, and I think it is a budget cigar that smokes very premium.

This Nicaraguan not-so hidden gem features a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that gives off an inviting, slightly sweet aroma right out of the box. It almost looks a bit fuzzy hairy... in a good way.

First impressions? Flawless construction. The draw is smooth and effortless, with a slow, even burn that cigar lovers will appreciate. The ash goes long. Well-rolled baby.

Flavor-wise, this stick brings a great balance of boldness and smoothness. Right from the start, you'll pick up notes of espresso, dark chocolate, and a touch of spicy sweetness.

As you move into the second third, cedar, nuttiness and a more pleasant sweetness come forward, making the flavor profile even more complex and enjoyable.

The final third finishes strong with earthy tones and a lingering cocoa finish. A pleasant finish.

Strength: Medium to full-bodied

Burn time: Around 90 minutes

Best for: Evening smokes, after a hearty meal, or when you want to treat yourself to a dessert-esque cigar.

Final Thoughts: The Oliva Master Blends 3 is a well-rounded, flavorful cigar that doesn’t disappoint. I have never smoked this cigar and been unhappy with my decision. It’s refined, rich, and consistently excellent. If you enjoy a bold yet balanced smoke, this one’s worth adding to your humidor.

I wish it didn't have to come in a box-press.

Rating: 92/100
